When the first Lockdown hit, our very successful Charity Shop in Street had to close, along with every other non-food shop in the country. I worried that the Glastonbury & Wells Branch of Cats Protection was going to be hard pressed to keep running without the funding from the shop, so began looking for other ways of raising money.
I already had a few 3D printers, and the models produced on them had sold well in the shop so I looked to see if there was any way to increase my output with something more exclusive - perhaps personalised.
A laser engraver has been addded and is successfully turning out clocks, puzzles and mirors
As my daughter lives in Bristol and supports The Moggery cat rescue centre, I now include them in possible beneficiaries of the profits.
